One
has written about a 10-year-old boy who was pushed into the mud by a bully from
school. Someone told him it he did not need to try to get even because God
always punished those who did evil.
The
boy shot back, “Okay, I'll give God till Saturday.”
Actually,
according to Paul, we are to give God until eternity: 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s
wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord (Rom.
12:19.) NIV
