Being
single can be discouraging if you want to marry. Sometimes, if one is not
careful, discouragement can lead to bitterness.
I
can’t help but think about the old story of the elderly woman who passed away.
Having
never married, she requested no male pallbearers. In her handwritten instructions
for her memorial service, she wrote, "They wouldn't take me out while I
was alive; I don't want them to take me out when I'm dead.”
